PhD position in Plant Molecular Biology

A PhD position (80%) is currently available at the laboratory of Prof. Yves Poirier of the Department of Plant Molecular Biology, University of Lausanne. The project is aimed at understanding the regulation of the PHO1 protein in phosphate transport and the adaptation of plants to phosphate deficiency in the model plant Arabidopsis thaliana (Science 352: 986-990, 2016; Plant Physiol. 171: 632-644, 2016). The ideal candidate would have an experience in plant biology and molecular biology. Strong motivation is essential.
