Collaboration with International Societies

EPSO collaborates with some international societies (ISE, GPC…) and to FAO towards longer term partnerships with African scientists in plant science for sustainable agriculture in Developing countries. Read more inside.

Collaboration with National Societies

EPSO offers learned national societies and similar scientific organisations to sign a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to join forces on policy issues. Organisations interested in signing the MoU are welcome to contact us.

Collaboration with Observers

Involved in EPSO policy activities and events. When EPSO produces a statement or a recommendation, prepares and holds a workshop, etc., observers can be involved in the discussions and have the opportunity to give their input.

Participation in EU Projects

EPSO collaborates with other European science organisations in the Initiative for Science in Europe (ISE), with plant science organisations worldwide in the Global Plant Council (GPC), with companies and farmers in the Plants for the Future European Technology Platform (Plant ETP). In addition, EPSO has links to other international societies and to FAO towards longer term partnerships with African scientists in plant science for sustainable agriculture in Developing countries.

EPSO collaborates with 12 national learned societies in plant biology under a Memorandum of Understanding.

EPSO has one NGO, two European industrial organisations and individual companies as observers.

EPSO is partner in several EU projects to advance plant science and innovation, science strategy and to engage the public in Europe and beyond.
