Summer School | ELLS & ECOBREED DIGITAL PLANT BREEDING
Course Content
Novel phenotyping methods using instrumental measurements for “difficult to see” traits are currently under development. We will choose selected possibilities for digital phenotyping, such as UAV taken RGB imaging, perform measurements and will explore on integrating digital data in selection programs. Learning outcomes
After completing the course, the participants should be able to:
• understand, compare and value methods for digital phenotyping in plant breeding context
• perform basic data acquisition and basic data analysis using digital phenotyping instruments in a plant breeding context.
Course in English
Mix of lectures, practical data analysis on the computer (laptop, statistical programming language R), field measurements, excursions.
