On 17 May 2022, the European Commission launched the 2022 LIFE Call, with a budget of 755.5 million €. The deadline for Standard Action projects (SAPs), the most relevant instrument for plant scientists, is 4 October 2022. Other deadlines are spread from September 2022 to March 2023 depending on the call.
LIFE is the EU’s funding instrument for the environment and climate action. LIFE projects support policy implementation. Research is not the main focus but should be part of a LIFE project.
EPSO-CINEA webinar:
To help EPSO members developing competitive proposals, EPSO is organizing with CINEA a webinar on the LIFE programme on 12 September 2022, 10am to 12pm CET. CINEA is the European Climate, Infrastructure and Environment Executive Agency, established by the European Commission to administer the LIFE programme.
