The new Research Training Group (RTG) 2498 offers 11 PhD positions at the Martin Luther University Halle-Wittenberg and the associated Leibniz Institute of Plant Biochemistry (IPB) Halle, beginning July 1st, 2019. The salary is in accordance with the German public service salary scale (65% E13 TV-L) for up to three years.
The RTG 2498 is a structured PhD program focusing on plant cellular processes involving more than one organelle. It comprises 11 related research projects investigating functional links of plastids, nuclei and selected other cell compartments to address the fundamental question of how plant organelles communicate and dynamically associate depending on changing cellular requirements.
