Your tasks:

  • Morphometry analysis of barley stems and spikes
  • Performing genetic analyses (GWAS, QTL and map-based cloning) by integrating phenotypic and genomic data
  • Characterizing genes for barley stem growth and yield performance
  • Presenting and publishing results in international conferences and scientific journals

Your qualifications and skills:

  • You have a MSc or equivalent degree in Agronomy, Plant Breeding or related field.
  • You have experience in genetic analysis such as GWAS, QTL mapping and map-based cloning.
  • Knowledge of bioinformatic pipelines and workflows such as R and Linux are highly desirable.
