A postdoctoral position funded by the Swiss National Fund is available in the laboratory of Prof. Yves Poirier at the Department of Plant Molecular Biology, University of Lausanne. This position is available starting May 1, 2019, or soon thereafter. The position is initially for a duration of three years. The research project is centered towards using CRISPR/CAS9 genome editing technology to modulate phosphate homeostasis in plants, with our model plant being Arabidopsis. Expertise in plant molecular biology is essential and with the CRISPR/CAS system an asset. Candidates must have obtained their PhD degree in 2017 or 2018.
