The ZMBP can promptly fill a tenure-track professorship for young scientists within the framework of the 1000-Professorships Programme of the German Federal Government and the German states (https://www.tenuretrack.de/de/tenure-track-programm) The professorship should cover the field of “Plant Molecular Physiology” in the broadest sense. A candidate with experience in the analysis of “Physiological consequences of genome-edited plants” or in “Modelling biochemical processes or mechanisms of signal transduction” would be particularly welcome.
The successful candidate will be expected to establish a competitive research program in one or more of the key research areas of the ZMBP with orientation on Plant Molecular Physiology. The successful candidate will be expected to interact with the research groups of the Center for Plant Molecular Biology (ZMBP), should be willing to contribute to existing and new CRCs and TR CRCs and to participate in the future excellence initiative of the ZMBP.
