Prerequisites for applicants

Applicants should have a basic to advanced scientific background (M.Sc. or Ph.D. students) and a strong interest in the fields of plant genetics, physiology, taxonomy, chromosome biology or bioinformatics and a good command of the English language.

Evaluation process

Please submit your full application to [email protected] before 28. February 2025, which will then be evaluated by a panel composed of scientists of the IPK and the Fördergemeinschaft (friends’ association).

Accommodation

The program covers travel expenses (up to 1,000 EUR) to Gatersleben and back to your home affiliation. During your stay at IPK, you will receive a regular employment contract and a salary corresponding to your present status (M.Sc. or PhD student
